YCC takes a leap with Surana launch
- Workshops in Public Speaking on anvil
Bangalore, August 11, 2017: YCC Karnataka is expanding its footprint.
Today, the Young Communicators Club was launched
at Surana College, Bangalore.
Mr.M.B JAYARAM – Founder, Chairman-Emeritus & Chief Mentor -
PRCI, Ms.Geetha Shankar – Director, Governing Council-PRCI & National
Chairperson –YCC , Ms.Maya Chandra – Chairperson – YCC Karnataka
and Prashanth - Secretary - YCC Karnataka were present, along with
PRCI Members Ramakrishna and Anasuya.
The event, organized by the Humanities Department was presided
by Principal - Dr.Sakuntala Samuelson and Shri Chandrashekarappa, Principal –
PU College.
Ms.Geetha Shankar motivated the students to discover their inner
voices, and not be just the echoes. She emphasized that PRCI-YCC will be an
able partner to make them realize their dreams and career goals.
Ms.Maya Chandra presented the aims and objectives of YCC and
highlighted the fact that YCC will strive to work with Surana College with an
aim to make them industry-friendly.
Mr.MB Jayaram inspired the audience with his views on what the
youngsters should focus and achieve as professionals in the Communications
world.
More than 130 students and their faculties participated in this
highly spirited launch.
Ms.Radhika, Asst.Professor, Journalism was initiated as the
Faculty Co-ordinator.
A lively interaction followed and some student representatives
spelt out their expectations from PRCI-YCC.
The programme concluded with a positive note, as Mr.Ramakrishna,
Member-PRCI-Bangalore volunteered to conduct workshops on compering and public
speaking.
